there are bolts securing the water line to the block, look in the TSRM for there locations and try to feel for them, take those out so you can move the water line around. you can get to the two nuts/bolts (forgot) with the turbo in place, but its tight. use a wratcheting box wrench.
its something like 3 quarts for the w58, CHECK THE FRICKEN TSRM!! :nono: :nono: :nono:
drain the old oil, and add the right amount through the shifter hole.

stop the car, turn the wheel to full lock ineither direction, and go. does it click or bang loudly? if so its your wheel bearing on that side. do the same in the other direction to check the other wheel bearing.

ive read some of this thread and got up to where drj reffered to sm as a downward spiral.

this place i believe is right on in...

i wish now i had gone with bolts. its not really a big deal, just would have been a little less cursing and frustration.
check mkiiitech dr jonez had a write up for how to do it.
its easy. the most important part is when you cut the SS line. it has to be perfectly level and NO frayed edges. once you get the fittings and lines itll be pretty self exlpanitory.
thanks for the offer. i have just lost a bit of my ambition, thats why its not done yet. last february i had just pulled this motor for a rebuild, put the motor back in, blew a HG in the summer. so i pulled the head with the motor in the car and replaced that, and just recently i took the car on...
mine is out side of my house where it has sat since the end of october. im pulling the motor out AGAIN and tearing it down to have the machine work done to install a MHG.
