Just wanted to say thanks for keeping this site running!
I got my car here, met a great builder, and come back daily for information.
This site rocks.
Wishing a safe and prosperous New Year to All.:icon_bigg
Thanks everyone!
A-1 makes three peices for each side of the rear of the Sup. Two of the three are adjustable without removing them, like Nash said. The third arm, the one that the swaybar hooks onto will need to be removed to be adjusted, but I don't think it's going to be a big deal...
This is what was done to my motor, and the costs involved.
I feel no money was ill spent. This will be a 650+ hp motor.
Check my build thread for pics. Yeah, the work was done by sponsored1.
Thermal Clean Block - 100
Bore Block - 90
Hone Block with plate - 110

Nate.
I've been thinking about that. I just came form the toyota store. The new bolts are like 9 dollars each, oh well. Im going to get the original stuff just to keep it simple. The other option is to get regular bolts and big heavy washers, and center them, or weld them so they don't move...

But really you should be sleeping, getting well. I saw your thread man. Rest up and feel better soon. Finish that ffim.
Thanks.
Nah I got em out with no damage. Just need new bolts. torch and grinder did it, but you are right, It takes a while to get to the point where a torch is the only way, then it's fast. I still like to try a wrench first for fun.
tooquick- Paint supplies? you aren't going with that blue are you?? I'm on the same cam buy you are. Eric told me a while back they would be ready to go on the 7th of January. I did see the thing about the 15th, but I like the 7th a lot better, so I'm going with that. Brakes are an easy...
thanks again for the help.
update is, the tank is out, and so are those two f-ing bolts.
I made most of the cut illustrated in the masterpiece above, but after three bi-metal blades, the fun ran out. Those are hard bolts, btw.
I torched off the heads of the bolts + a little grinding, and...
Thanks CRE.
The sazall cutting sucks a little because the blade bottoms out and bends and pisses me off a little.
I'm gonna go do something.
Thanks guys...
Nice drawing Nate!!
If I make that cut, I think the bolts could be still stuck in place.:nono: I might try it anyway. Did you say you could get the tank out in 5 mins?
