i found it best to just rev it up and feather the clutch until the car hooks, the same way you would do it when taking off from a traffic light and driving normally, just giving it more gas for faster acceleration. :)...

if you are loosing a lot of power at higher RPMS under full throttle you could be detonating. and if it has happend more than once and youve been standing on it then you can say bye bye to your head...

my suggestions:
1.plumb the PCV system back to stock, if you want to use a catch can go ahead but put it right before the hose that goes from the cam covers and the accordian hose.
and
2. have your turbo rebuilt or replace with a new unit.

i dont get it though? 200 miles isnt exactly a full out road trip. you can do it in a day, unless you were planning on spending the night or something?
eh but thats not really the point. that point is that in the 7m SPECIFICALLY, there is enough room for an extra quart without having the oil level getting too close to the crank.
this is not true for every motor however, it depends entirely on the engine.
i have a stock ct on its way out, at 10 pounds of boost i trapped over 100mph. you could get into the 13s if your motor is healthy for sure.
