If you can't move it (it's usually a bit difficult), then I'd replace it. Go to a junkyard and look at a bunch of Toyota's, as there are many that use the same valve, and if not, you can at least use parts to rebuild yours, if I remember correctly. Your best bet would be to buy one new...

drjonez here on the forums sells them too. Watch out on ebay, many of them are fake wallypumps. I believe drjonez sells them through ebay, too, so you could check his auctions. His are legit, and I'm sure that driftmotion's are also legit.

I'd swap the GE intake cam in, otherwise you'll be seriously lacking on bottom end power in the GE. Nothing would be damaged. The Toyota guy in your area is wrong. You can swap out one or the other with no problems. It's not a must. It's not worth the trouble to swap GE cams IN a GTE...

SOGI mod, w/ stock shift knob (Re-threaded stick)- Marlin crawler bushings. I love it, personally. It's really a matter of opinion. I recommend making a pie cut in the shifter, and rewelding it at the proper angle. You'll see what I mean when you do it. ;)
