Yeah .022 will be fine if you're running higher boost and maybe a standalone, but stock ecu should be from .028-.032. I do love the NGK 6097's though. Even if they were gapped to .022 it should still crank, but he has bigger problems than that. To the OP, good luck.

It's got to reach 400 degrees Mike and that's pretty much all the instructions say. You cook it for ten minutes, and then let it cool off. I've did just about all of my engine in the chrome as well.

Honestabe, if you're on a basically stock 1jz with stock ecu, the .022 isn't going to be necessary. Your car will probably run a lot better @ .028 as mentioned before. My car won't run @ .028, but it doesn't have the stock ecu or...........stock anything actually. Good luck and keep us...
