If you want to go MLS HG you NEED to MACHINE YOUR BLOCK.
If you're just going to "clean it up" it has to be a composite HG.

SS lines/fittings aren't cheap, and they are neccessary. It would be a cheaper route to make your own kit, i.e. buy the estimated length of SS line and the fiitings you'll need. About the oil return into the block, Im sure that the fitting is out there, or you could have someone cut and weld the...
As I understand it, you go through the initial torque sequence in three passes - 58,68,90. Follow that by 1/4 turn back in the torque sequnce then retorque -one at a time. Then repeat this process 5 times?

New OEM is the best set up. hands down.
Replace/fix your clutch, keep your fan shroud on, maybe do a thermostat, and either get a new stock radiator or go aftermarket...
