I'd go right off the collector, as that'll give you a good range of all six cylinders.
Ideally, you would have one in each runner; but that' would be a PITA to monitor!

I have no idea, how big is your warehouse? The facility that I'm currently working in is 200+ thousand square feet. The new one that we're due to move in next year is state of the art, and they're saying 500+ thousand square feet, plus we're going up...

I was just about to post this. Guys, if you're heating up that damper, you're going to kill it. Get a new one.
Also, get a better impact gun. The one I picked up for a few bucks at a yard sale has never failed me. LOL. (and make sure you oil them properly; it matters!)
The fuel pressure shouldn't really drop, as vacuum decreases fuel pressure should increase. I only asked because when I was working on my car quite a while ago, I happened to get a nest of spiders living in my brand new fuel filter.

Rev the motor from the engine bay. Watch the fuel pressure gauge. What happens to the gauge when you rev the motor?
Also keep in mind that those liquid filled fuel pressure gauges become inaccurate to an extent the more they heat up.
