It doesn't intercept, it just converts the 12v reading the flex fuel gives to a 5v reference. Where the 128 does it inboard I memory serves me right. IMO if you gonna run e85 mind as well go 128 so you get knock control/knock view

It's a piston ring not a seal. And it's easy, but you will need to rebalance it, or it's common practice to. Better off rebuilding it IMO
