    Idle surge (1K-2K)

My first guess would be that you have a boost/vacuum leak, as indicated by the code 34. Start there. Code 14 has to do w/ the igniter. I'll shoot in the dark and tell you to check the connection, AND the ground. The ground is done through the case, and if it gets corrosion on between the front...

Throttle body to Intake manifold gasket(pic added)

JDM or USDM motor? If it's JDM, or at least a JDM throttlebody, it'll leak, as there's only one vacuum port on the top of the TB. Ask me how I know. ;) LOL.

    Ebay Gaskets SUCK!

I wouldn't say must. You can make some really good power on the stock headgasket, assuming you've got a good tune. ;)

    Knock sensor locations

The GE had one, about dead center in the block under the intake manifold. I'd post up links w/ pics for you, but cygnusx1 is blocked by my job.

Genuine Toyota gaskets have never failed me. Any of them. Proper installation is key. ;) For a moment, I thought you were serious. I even put my Moderator's hat on. False alarm, well played, sir. :biglaugh:

Any oldschool SLR users? (non digital)

Damn, in '89 I was in Kindergarten! I'd love to see some of your work! :) I'll have to take a look at slide film- I never really thought of it. All I've ever shot was black and white, mainly because I love high contrast of darks and lights, as well as the fact that the course I took in high...

    35W HID Vs. 55W HID

The best thing to do would be a TSX or TFX (yes, tfx) retrofit into housings like those posted above. You'd retain the stock headlight size, but have all the glory of a fantastic cutoff, bixenon, and the best of all; not blinding other people on the road! I'll be working on this for my Toyota...

    35W HID Vs. 55W HID

Right on. TL projectors are nice. I'm going with a set of fx35 Bi-xenon projectors so I can still have high beams. :) A lot of that messed up beam pattern has to do with the way the HID lamp arcs. If you were to stare into an HID lamp that's lighted, (Don't do that, you'll likely blind...

    No Hood on a car

I disagree. Go spray your motor with a garden hose. Pay particular attention to the plug valley. Yep, just fill it right up. Now tell me your car runs as it's supposed to.

    35W HID Vs. 55W HID

They're crap. OEM retrofit or stick with Hella E-Codes + Osram bulbs and a good rewire. In all honesty, my Hella E-codes with crappy Sylvania Silverstars are just as bright as the crappy 35w HID kit I had. This is all in my Pickup. I blew 3 ballasts, and two bulbs. I'm done with that crap. Stay...
