I think with the larger core cams, you're suppose to upgrade the springs and retainers. With the small core cams (the ones I have) you can use your stock springs and retainers...............although I had mine rebuilt with the good stuff. Good luck.

I don't know how hot it will withstand but I have mine between the flange and the turbo and it's doing great. It sure beats the piss out of an exhaust leak. I was tired of my car sounding like a log truck.
