The electronics are the same. Sounds like you had a dead AFM in there. Thats why when you swapped em back out, it worked. Good set in, bad set out = car runs.

Search on SF, there was an exhaust thread similar to this. One guy posted his and it was exacly what you are looking for. It was a custom 3" catback, looks identical to that HKS Turbo, cept its a Magnaflow muffler. 3" inlet, dual 2.5" tips, full stainless. So its just like the HKS, cept no rust...

I think thats cool. I wanna put a pipe onto my exhaust cutout and have it exit out of the side like that.

Go custom. Buy some three inch piping, some mandrel bends, and a muffler of your choice.

If you are turbo, 2.25" will be too small. Id go 3 inch.

Here is a vid I made of my car and my friends 5.0 Stang. My rear brakes are too tight, when we tried to hold the brakes to get a good burnout it would bog the car down, so we jus did a rolling burn/hard launch. Let me know what ya'll think...

You mean, except the MK3. There was a total of ONE pic of an MK3, and they used the wrong pic. I know thew MK3 isnt the Supra GOD like the MKIV is, but it kinda makes me mad when they have pics from the entire event and not many pics of MK3's. In fact, what really sux, is at the end of the drag...

U have any cats? Mine backfires almost everytime I shift because its running SUPER rich (untuned) and I run no cats. WIthout a cat, excess fuel (from running rich) builds up in the exhaust, then when you let off the gas, it combusts, POP - backfire. Shoots a cool lil fireball out of the exhaust...
