Just installed some hardpipes and a fatty front mount and now Im hitting fuel cut while still running crazy rich. Ive got a Lex AFM, 550s, Walbro, AFPR, running 20psi on a 60-1 upgraded CT. Im tuning with a S-AFC. Ive got the fuel pressure around 38psi with the vaccum line off, and Im -20%...
I did the swap, its pretty straight foward. The holes for the clutch pedal assembly and master cylinder are even already there for you.
When messing with the brake pedals, do not remove the entire bracket, they are the same. Just unbolt the pedal itself, leave the bracket and put the smaller...
Thanks man, it is my DD. Way more comfortable than the Supra. Gas mileage isnt too great (I get a consistant 17MPG in the city) but I dont care, it looks good :biglaugh: and still kicks some ass. :evil2:
Ive got a manual one now and I want an electric one, prolly goin with the McCord Power Plate. Its just too much of a pain in the ass to jack up the car and get under it when I want to run open DP. Then I end up leaving like that for weeks because I dont want to get back under the car. Sounds...
The only one Ive got is open DDP. I'll get one of my car when I get the tranny back in.
This thread is a good idea, we need an exhaust soundboard. Everyone should post up so we can hear all the diff. setups.
Badass man, I'll prolly have you make me a banner, thats a damn good price. I wish I could have gotten a Supramania.com sticker, but oh well. I'll let you know.
Yea.
I dont think it will affect anything at all. By the time they reconvene, the exhaust is moving plenty fast, fast enough to jus FLOW.
BTW - I run a DDP, re-routed. I ran it without the reroute for a couple months but didnt like the noise. I re-routed it myself. I didnt notice a...
Youre never gonna get a turbo that you wont have to worry about blowing. Every turbo is prone to the same problems, its all about how you take care of it. I run a 60-1 w/10 degree clip on the exhaust side at 21psi all day long. Its been almost 2 years now and I dont have any probs with it. Make...
Nah, its not that bad.
Just a hint - do NOT swap out the entire brake pedal assembly. The bracket for the auto and manual brake pedals are the same. The big auto pedal just comes out of the bracket and the new, smaller manual one slides right in.
Also, make sure you get the manual...
I was just about to chime in and say Probe makes some good stuff for Fords and Chevys. A forged piston is a forged piston. I know there are differences in design, weight, etc, etc, but when it comes down to it, its pretty much a matter of preference. I went with Ross because they were WAY...
Looks good man.
Im thinkin about tryin it out on my Marauder - black paint is so hard to keep clean.
Nice rollaway you got back there. I work with those things everyday. $$$$$
Unless you wanna do it again, have a machine shop micropolish your crank and rod ends and determine what size bearings you need. They may be stock, but they may not. If you get the wrong size, youre asking for trouble. Always let the machine shop tell you the right size, never assume anything.
Im lookin to either do this swap or get a new clutch. The way I see it, its either spend a lil more now and thats it, or spend $450+ everytime I need a clutch. Im jus tryin to source all the items for the swap, lots of stuff I need to get.
