Its cool man, thats what the forums are for, to get answers.
I found a set of Hoosiers in my shop that are 26x11.5x15. So will they fit? I think so, I fit a 10.5 just fine.
I guess I'll just slap em on and see what happens.
I THINK the backspacing is 5.5, it might be 4.5. Once...
I was worried about the front wheels. What about with a spacer? Its just for drag racing anyway.
The rears are 15x10 with 5.5" backspacing. I want the biggest damn tire I can shove in there. Im on stock suspension and I'm going to roll the fenders as much as I can.
Im sure its been discussed, but whats the biggest/widest tire I can fit in the rear on stock suspension? Im going to be running a set of 15x10" Welds and I need to know if it will work. I am tryin to fit a 295-50-15. The tire comes in at 26.6" tall, which I dont think will be a problem, a 26"...
I have a custom HKS Carbon/Ti catback on my car and I LOVE IT. I think it sounds awesome, nice and deep at idle and comes to life when going WOT. Be warned that it does tend to resonate and drone when just cruising, depending on the RPM you are at. It looks awesome, ricers love it, haha. I...
They will fit. I have a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets 26x10.5 mounted on 01 V6 Mustang wheels. No rubbing and they actually fit quite nice and flush and are WAY lighter than my other wheels. I'll post up a pic when I get home.

Exactly, quality is key. Ive heard of several people having very little mileage on an upgraded ct when it fails on them. Like I said, Ive been running mine very HARD for going on 4 years now and it hasnt let me down yet. Mine was done by Performance Techniques.
Thanks.
Ive been doin research and was just wondering if some of the big HP drag racers would chime in and let me in on their suspension setup.
Converting to a live rear axle would be the best for drag racing, but thats no fun. Plus it eliminates me from every Supra meet competition...
60-1 w/10 degree clip here, with almost no tune, I made 371 RWHP. It spools quick, pulls hard to redline and keeps on doing it. Going on 4 years with no probs. People trip out when they see the little baby turbo under the hood. Its 10000000% worth it.
That ad is hilarious.
"This is JDM customized" "You wont find this in the US market" HAHAHA :biglaugh:
Hit up one of the vendors in the vendors section. BIC is where its at.
Alright, Im gettin the rear end rebuilt since it could no longer take abuse I was throwing at it. High RPM launches + ET Streets = dead LSD. So while Im taking apart the rear end, I was wondering, what would be the best suspension set up for drag racing? Im going to get a set of those traction...
Heh, Ive been shoving 20psi through a patched up accordian hose for about a year now. I used gasket sealer to seal up a crack and some "rubber" stretchy tape stuff to seal on top of that. So far, working like a champ.
One day I'll quit being lazy and order a new one.
Im running that same BOV and I get that sound. I believe it is compressor surge. It happens because there is not enough air to push open the valve inside the BOV. I think you can use the adjustment screw, if yours has it (the newer ones dont) but I was told not to worry about it. Its been over...
Yea, mine is almost at 0 on my oil pressure gauge. Its scary as hell, but its normal.
BTW - if youre still on the stock gauge, get a real one. The stock gauges (oil, water, boost) are all useless.
:word8kn:
Been almost 5 years and its still boostin hard.
As far as the clip is concerned (for the thread starter), I dont know a lot about it, but it basically helps with boost on the top end. IIRC (its been years since I researched upgraded CTs) a clip on the exhaust wheel will help...
I got mine done by Performance Techinques out in Cali. Their website is www.turbocharged.com. The best way to deal with them is over the phone. I sent mine in and got it back within a week. Been smoking cars ever since. :biglaugh:
I have a 60-1 upgraded CT with a 10 degree clip on the exhaust wheel. Like a couple guys already stated, I love the SUPER fast spool. I can break the tires loose all through 1st and half of 2nd and can get em to break loose from a roll, depending on how fast Im goin. Its crazy loud and...
