Congratulations! That's fucking bad!!!!
That's what my 2.8l S10 sounded like when a rod somehow blew through the pan at cruise around 2500rpm.
It still drove fine in the woods, and around my house... lol
A few people have installed them.
What you should do is make a writeup about it when you end up putting them on.
I'm sure it's ridiculously simple though... so, a pending NVM on that suggestion...
I would imagine that it would have to be above pump-level, since it pulls from the bottom of the reservoir. I could be wrong, and it is late, so the chances are far greater.
I would mount it higher, just because that's how I roll.
Put it where the charcoal canister goes.
Airtex is a somewhat respectable company.
I assume the pump that you looked up was an OEM replacement MKIV pump, correct?
If not, then definetely the Walbro.
I'm not sure that makes sense. Black should work.
Golden rule of RTV!!! Listen up!
Apply it, and let it sit for a while.
Keep testing it for surface tension.
If you touch it, and you get RTV on your finger, it's not ready.
once you touch the RTV and nothing transfers to your finger, but...
Then put a terminal on it and re-ground it to the body.
Unless I don't understand the question... which is a more than likely option...
:edit: What color is the wire?
Also, I don't know if this will help, like at all... but here's to trying.
That's why I love my DD Legacy beater!!
Someone wants to cut me off? Let them. In fact, let them broadside me and cause a pileup. I'll just act the victim. I can't wait to sue the next bitch on her cell phone driving a Canyonero into my fender.
With that said, I stick with my...
YAY!!! Thanks for showing me exactly how my turbo is going to sit with the intake and all!
I have a 7M, but still, it'll be the same from the manifold flange over.... I was wondering if the filter I have was too big and would look dumb, but I know now that it definetely wont!
BTW: Nice car...
I personally am looking for a 5spd NA that I can convert to turbo eventually.
Of course, I have my Turbo "fix". Albeit on jackstands, it's still there and will get me in plenty of trouble when it runs. May as well get a semi-reliable Supra for the time being.
If you're Jonesin' for a Turbo...
That's the one I was going to use on my mani, but now with my decision of FFI, I'll just have a similar size tapped in on the rear of the mani.
catch2nd: you should use a decent sized supply since you're feeding a lot of other things off the manifold, you don't want to choke it down with a 1/8"...
