Mine will do the same thing. Setup the freeplay exactly to the TSRM and thats just how it is. Brand new Spec stage 2 got about 460 miles on it so far (gonna continue breaking in for another 100 I think.) But I was also suprised how high it still was (clucth before this was totally burnt) given...

Even if the ABS light is not on, disable the ABS in some way. For me it was dragging the front right brake and causing plumes of smoke to appear from the wheel well, and still no ABS light came on. I would disable it and test it to see if thats whats doing it.

Why not get a relay wired into the ON position and run it through that? Then run the main power right off the battery.
