I just took the spring out of it, and to open, push on the front of the lid, ahead of the hinge. it'll pop up enough to grab the side of it.
better than it being open all the time.
How much do these barrels hold? I'm sick of hearing about them on the news, saying price of oil per barrel is going up, but never telling us just how big these barrels are. It's annoying.
In all actuality, it's always open.
The only time the VSV triggers it to move, is when the AC is on.
It closes the valve, stopping the flow of hot coolant through the heater core so you don't reheat the cooled air coming from the evap core.
