I decided to try it this year, and I'm a little confused. I was under the impression it would be free, but I ended up paying $19.95 to file both State and Federal. Is that normal? I followed the directions, and left a lot of boxes blank since they didn't apply to me. Seemed easy enough...

Ehh, depends on how well you trust your EBC as well. My EVC IV reads what pressure I'm running, and I just use the boost gauge as a visual reference.

It's a mechanical guage, I looked it up... I wouldn't worry too much on how accurate they are. If it's resting on 0, then you should be fine. Get another gauge though if you plan on tunning. Every measurement needs to be to the point.

Now that I see that was the RPM line, there's no doubt in my mind that's a little slippage.

Is that a faucet on your coolant feed line to the turbo? What's that all about?

My personal pick for a triple pillar would be. Boost WB-AFR Fuel Pressure Only the most critical gauges would go in my direct line of sight. My water temp might be going on my dash somewhere too.

There is a point in having multiple boost gauges, you can measure pressure sources pre and post intercooler to record pressure drop. For boost, I recommend full electronic with memory control.

You will never get the AFC to eliminate backfiring between shifts.
