Big ballers don't even use wastegates. That's actually a carry on trashcan... used for storing and disposing the motor's garbage. Wastegate... wastebasket... same thing.

I agree with you, it's a completely different bumper... unless the modifications were intended for clearance with the 1J front mount intercooler? I have no other guesses. Such a smaller difference, I wonder why.
