went to track, good times i think, but.....

With a 60-trim and 15psi, I managed a 13.3@107... like the best say, it's ALL IN the 60' ... That's where the run makes it, or breaks it. The clutch slipping is definitely holding you back, however I've seen some big names around here run spec II's and completely over shoot their tq rating...

    Calibrating electronic boost gauges?

Nah, the HKS gauges look like they're all one piece... believe me I tried. The back of the unit is a stud, with a nut and lock washer. When you loosen the nut the housing still doesn't budge... I think HKS may be the only ones who can help me.

    Calibrating electronic boost gauges?

Trent on SF said it was impossible, so I'd tend to believe someone who's been in the industry. I'll call HKS again on Monday, and see what they say. (As if I'll actually get in touch with them.)

    Calibrating electronic boost gauges?

Does anyone know how to calibrate electronic boost gauges? My HKS unit reads at .25 kPa, instead of zero. There are no adjustments to be made on the back of the unit under the stickers... I thought maybe I could do something at the sender. If you have any information on how to do this...

    Older HKS gauge install

All of my HKS gauges have (2) wires left over, the only thing I can think they're for is to be piggy backed with either IGN, lights, or possibly gounds. I left them alone, and wired the rest up permanently.

    Older HKS gauge install

lol.... Okay guys. Red - 12volt constant Orange - Switched ign source Yellow - Light source (IE, lights get a 12v source from here.) Black - ground of course. The other wires should coincide with the sending unit...which you do have, right? -Brent (The HKS gauge guy...) Edit... on my HKS...

    mounting slicks.... few questions?....

I'd like to see the style rim, if you can find a picture online of the same brand, ect. I'll buy them from the guy if he wants... I'm in the market for some traction!

    mounting slicks.... few questions?....

If the offset is doable, and the bolt pattern is correct... I think so.

flat black for a mkIII what do you guys think?

Flat or satin black looks like complete garbage, if you're asking my opinion. I've seen pictures of it professionally done on a MKIII over on SupraForums.com
