grounding wires anywhere under hood?
we realy could use a checklist of all the ground wires under the hood. if anyone has a complete list of all ground wires they should sticky it in the faq.
as for the rear end noise yea its faint and only arround peak gears like on the highway just before changing gears. i can only hear it if there is no other noise or if im right next to some concrete barier and its just a little gear whining.
slow or not a semi stock mkIII will beat pretty much any other stock import that isnt TT.
and most v6 american cars that are stock. beyond that who the hell knows, asnwering this question is like trying to describe a color.
i have exact same mods as you and it should be at the 7-7.5 psi range. lag is expected in these cars but you should atleast be able to hear the turbo spinning at arround 1900-2300 rpms depending on load. i can hear it when i leave the lights in traffic, it helps if theres something for the noise...

well for those who glanced at my non starting motor thread this was the fix i blew the fuses to hell and now its running smooth as hell. when i pulled out that fuse i was in awe at the length because ithought it was just like the other fuses that are only like 1 inch long.
always probable to have a leak of some sort, now that you have seen all of our hoses try to remember each one and which could not be sealing well. go over your vacuum lines and pull off your stock bov and try to blow through it. if you blow through it gone, if not well upgrade anyway. do you...

ok after a day of litteraly mapping every wire and trying to trace every white whire w/ a black line i started pulling out every fuse 1 by 1 to trace my lack of ignition. well what i found was that my 100 amp alt fuse has a hairline mising in it and my wouldnt you know it efi fuse has a hariline...

have a mechanic look it over and look up the vin on carfax i beleive someone has a subscription for a month on this very forum
like your engine temp guage is hot or you can feel it in the cabin hot. i know when i hit highway for long periods i feel the heat soak in the foot pedals and dash sometimes.
check for co2 in radiator and make sure your using 50/50 mix of water and red coolant

already did the fuse, recaharged battery at schucks, cleaned everything to show finish, have looked for every ground i possibly can, am taking alternator off and taking to schucks to be tested, if that comes out ok im taking off the engine cover and cranking with screwdriver in each spark plug...
