10-11 sounds like a very safe number, make sure the bypass valve is operating good or it might start to barely leak as the numbers get higher. You could also highly benefit from a nice hardpipe kit and a more efficient IC seeing as the psi drop is a few pounds with the stock IC/piping. Check for...
From the readings it seems that a NA cam has more lift but less duration. NA cam Intake Lift = 7.683mm (0.3025") vs Turbo cam Intake Lift = 7.494mm (.295") lift unless I just read it wrong.
I've read on here somewhere and I'll try to look for it, pre-oiled filters such as the K&N filter destroys the very sensitive AFM.
I don't mean destroys as like as soon as you turn the key, boom. I mean will slowly kill it over time. The filter oil puts a very light coat of oil film over the...
Okay well. It's alive! Only to be taken apart again because of a few issues. Found a few minor oil leaks which I left loose for a reason and forgot about it.. lol Like the banjo bolt to the turbo so I can make sure it had oil flow. I'll upload a short cellphone video of it running shortly. After...
I'd pressurize the IC piping and check for leaks. Block off the TB with a cap and pressurize it from the turbo intake just to make sure you have NO leaks. I'm also sure someone will correct me on this but isn't 12.5 a little lean on the stock system?
Did you think about pulling the valve covers off with the piston at the top of number one to verify that the valves were closed? Just a safe way to insure it's closed if you run across this again.
Something funny but sad is the OP could of had the engine running 10 days ago if he listened to like the first 5 posts. "Check timing check timing check timing"
Okay well something is very obvious during your last bit of information. If the turbo elbow is DRAWING in air and the throttle body is PUSHING air out, sounds like your 'exhaust stroke' is sucking while the 'intake stroke' is pushing. Piston is going down while the exhaust valve is open and the...
