Why do you think its your knock sensors if you can't find out what is causing your CEL? Have you tried checking the CEL codes?

Not only never never never spray anything into it but do NOT use a pre-oiled filter unless you love problems with your afm system.

I'd pressurize the IC piping and check for leaks. Block off the TB with a cap and pressurize it from the turbo intake just to make sure you have NO leaks. I'm also sure someone will correct me on this but isn't 12.5 a little lean on the stock system?

Did you think about pulling the valve covers off with the piston at the top of number one to verify that the valves were closed? Just a safe way to insure it's closed if you run across this again.
