Always be educated before buying something. It could possibly work, but chassis harnesses are tough to get right. I guess you'll just have to wait and see. If nothing else, you'll have a bunch of good connectors and a lot of good wiring.

As much as I like Subarus, I couldn't bear owning an STi knowing that the 4G63 makes so much more power, so much easier.
I mean, a 700awhp STi is a huge deal....
AMS is now making upwards of 1100awhp on their Evo's...
Solid motor mounts and transmission mounts will negate the real need for a flex section. You can add one for peace of mind, and I would suggest the tractor trailer style flex sections. They're smooth inside, not corrugated like most of the general automotive ones.
