This is basically Kashi's datasheets translated into english. There is plenty of missing info, but this is a good start.
Wow Manuel! A ceramic packaged version with a Toshiba logo. This is proof that Toshiba was the foundry that made all these chips. Doesn't seem to be any public domain data on it that I can find. Must have been a Denso funded project between Toshiba and Toyota.
Have you tried peeling the label...
That explains why some people say its easy to change and others struggle. After reading that comment I went out and took a look and indeed without those lines the oil filter change would be a whole lot easier.
And the answer is..... a 74mm 15 flute cap wrench. Rite Fit A258. check out http://www.ctatools.com/catalogs/ritefit_appguide.pdf for other filters. Pep Boys had the wrench.
The original radios typically all have electrolytic capacitors that have dried out. Finding someone else's "same vintage" radio won't help you. You can replace all the microminiature caps (mouser sells them) and it should restore the radio operation but it is very labor intensive. I went down...
Compression check seemed like a good suggestion? At TDC #1 both lobes should be pointing skywards and the CPS, well you already know about where that should be pointing, apparently.

On car assembly lines computer-controlled DC electric tools are primarily used on critical assemblies, such as the steering wheel, wheel lugs, axles and transmission. Everything is torqued to spec and recorded electronically. Why do you think they bother to go to all that trouble?

Bosch makes a number of similar looking BOVs. This has been discussed elsewhere many times. You want a 110 or 114.
Bosch 110 and 114:
Audi 06A145710N
Bosch 0280142110
Bosch 0280142114
Porsche PP993.110.337.50
It means there is trapped air in your cooling system. If you are lucky, it is from a small leak perhaps from a hose, or an empty coolant reservoir. More likely, you have the beginnings of a BHG.
I think these are brand new. A coworker bought at turbo from these guys for his Passat and it was brand new made in China. Whether it actually performs and has the reliability of the OEM turbo is another matter...
190F is not going to cut it. Check out this thread that discusses oil hoses.

Sorry, read that post on fitment but brain malfunctioned.
