yeah do what dirtbike racers do. titanium nuts and bolts wherever possible, and strip the paint off of everything. you'd be surprised what that adds up to. dirtbikers do some silly shit to strip weight off a bike.

bfg kdw2 is also ftw. there's a reason it's OE on the fastest production car evar. the dodge srt-4... it's the fastest.
