experience, young grasshopper, that's how.
problem solving. he may have never had a heater core out, but he knows how to step back and properly assess a situation and have a plan of attack.
I didn't notice you have tinted windows.
If you've already scratched the tint in a few areas then you may as well take a razor blade scraper to the rest of the windows.
If you plan to keep the tint on, make sure whatever you use for a glass cleaner doesn't contain ammonia.
Take a good bit out of the can, like, say a good scoop of ice cream size.
add a couple DROPS of the hardener. mix.
if you add enough to change the color of the bondo, i've found it's too much.
Still doesn't make sense. I had my boost gauge in front of the stock one, then 2 more on the pillar. Not to mention the EBC in the ashtray.
I was never distracted by them. They're not meant to be a distraction, they're for information purposes.
ah shit. oh well.
as long as it's a quality product, it's really up to the installer as to how haggard the final result would be.
i'm not looking forward to the "installed remote start/alarm, now my high beams come on when i turn on the heat" threads. lol
Mechanix gloves rock. I used to hate them, but you get used to them very quickly, and it makes the post-job cleanup so much easier when you can take the gloves off, throw them in your toolbox and look at your clean hands.
Nitrile gloves are nice, but I hate how easy they tear. From my...
Stop using 10yr old bondo Jake.
Other than that, use less hardener. See how his is a tan color?
you really don't need much of that stuff... honestly, you'd be surprised how little you really need for it to work.
Interesting conversation yet again JJ.
There's always so much more to it than meets the eye.
Although, I must say that my Optima red top has lasted 5 years, being drained completely and for some time about 3 times, whilst being brought back to life with full capacity. I'm going to bring it...
MDCMotorsports does have a section here that you can post in. Jon would be more than happy to answer any and all upgrade-related questions you have.
FWIW, my 2psi is geared towards the 57trim due to the smaller size of it. You'll make close to the power you're gearing towards, but not 500whp...
are you talking plug and play? that would be THE shit.
the one thing i can't fucking stand about aftermarket alarms and remote starts is the complete and total hack job that people go through to get them installed.
If you're marketing a plug and play harness with minimal factory harness...
This is like the 3rd thread that I've seen someone take some initiative and do something creative!
Nice work Marc, can't wait to see it installed! What have you got planned for gauges? Brand?
The above works amazingly.
Here's a couple tricks when it comes to washing windows that you wouldn't think to ever try.
You know that white haze that the inside of the windshield gets after a while? It's actually formaldehyde gas emitted from the vinyl dash as a result of the sun beating...
That's really cool!
You did a great install, very clean and professional looking, you have a good grasp on the concept, and you've answered peoples questions very well.
This thread wins!
I'm in for the video. If your video camera records to tape, you can either

They're just called coils. Coilovers are suspension parts ;)
Check your CPS. The pins in the plug could be worn, and it may not be sending the ECU a signal to fire. Wiggle the connector and try to crank it over again. If still nothing, check the CPS via the TSRM.
