I bought one 5 years ago for $50, and that was the best price I could find. The $35 ones were the lower quality plastic ones (103) that can't hold as much pressure.
In my mind the deposit is more a means to motivate people to return it. Even well meaning people with no intention of anything "shady" will be motivated to return it quickly if they have a deposit to get back. It might also motivate those well meaning guys who will store the plate in their...

Yes it will be a problem unless you cut the low-speed circuit resistance in half. The ND 2JZGTE fuel pump draws nearly double the current. You will be running around 7V under mid throttle in low-speed, the pump will not perform well.
My plan (not implemented yet) is to run two MK3 fuel...
The Walbro draws less current than the ND pump, but more than the stock pump. I suspect the reason people complain of tuning problems when they leave the stock 2 speed circuit in place is that the low-speed resistor is too large for the walbro, and it stalls under medium load at low speed. If...

Has the system been pressure tested?
There are two factory rad caps, and they are not interchangeable. The 89+ cap is smaller and will leak if put on most aftermarket rads, and pre 89 rads.
Many people run the 2JZGTE pump which is a Denso 195130-1020. It is reliable and outperforms the walbro, but draws about double the current. Since you seem noise sensitive, you would want to retain the stock dual speed relay and resistor. See link for performance comparison...
I think you will find you are compressor limited at idle, rather than condenser limited. Compute the super heat to confirm. The super-heat will be too high (should be 3-5 deg usually), and the TXV valve in the evaporator will be wide open but lack of flow will prevent it from coming down to...
The pusher fan is on all US MA70 automatics (which dump extra heat into the rad through the trans cooler), and some manual turbos according to some (the parts catalog seems to disagree on that point). It switches on when the coolant temp exceeds 100C. It is not only for the A/C, although the A/C...
If you live in Tokyo, then it makes sense, if you live in the U.S., then its a dumb idea... Toyota adds cost to its cars only when there is good reason.
I don't see anything about whether you still have the MK3 fuel pump speed control circuit in place. Since you are using the Denso 1020 pump, you cannot use the MK3 fuel pump resistor setup as the resistor is too large and will choke the pump off. I would expect you would see the car go lean...
