I actually built a pair of ramps out of 10' 2x8 planks
cut them both in half, then cut 2' off one of the halfs.
You're left with a pair of 2' sections, a pair of 3' sections, and a pair of 5' sections. I even cut 45* off the end of each so it makes an angle, and they're not square edged...
Youd be surprised at how much nicer a lightweight jack is in all aspects.
Not to mention I need to replace mine. It works fine, but it doesn't have that quick-pump feature, so to raise it up to the subframe takes more pumps than it does to lift the car.. lol

Are you saying the fan speed has nothing to do with the button you push? as in, press #3 and it goes on low, #2 is high and so on?
