I think i have a late block and 7M crank and i had a pre 89 ecu. I definitely need new pistons. I hot tanked the block then cleaned it out with soap and water. I also chipped away at any loose casting.

I have been looking at the rear knock sensor and have no idea on how to tap it with the engine in. Maybe I can find a bung and lightly weld it on for now? But then I could also just tap the front one and use the middle one too. Any opinions?
Im going to have to suspend the motor and drop the subframe to remove the oil pan. The stock sized oil filter fits on the block without hitting. Im going to swap my oil pump to a gte oil pump while im in there.
