my car has a SEP 87' chassis but says 88 under the hood with an unknown motor year due to a swap. what exactly do i need to change when converting to turbo. fuel system wise all i have are the 440 injectors.

Yup. you can switch at any time. allot of the customers at my job freak when they switch to syn and the oil is "blacker" next time around for the oil change. it has more additives and does a better job of getting the crud conventional cant.
i cant seem to find much on the differences between the fuel system of a GE vs a GTE. Injectors of course but what about the FPR, rail, lines, and pump?
any cat will do. if you make it "look" original they wont know. even still the DP is not legal cause it has no cat so keep the heat shields on so they cant see. i got lucky and my smog tech is a supra owner and looked the other way. be stealthy, act dumb, or be prepared with CARB numbers.
you have to have a licensed tech claim that the original cat was damaged according to CA laws. so take it off and smash the insides on accident ;)
