    Best cast pistons

I ended up buying the npr set. I was told that i should use the loose end of the ring gap spec for higher boost.

    13.8 @ 100mph NA-T 88 Supra

I thought it only had a few extra fibers. +1 on a cooler and fluid flush if you have not already. You can also back off the gas slightly between shifts to keep it from slipping.

    13.8 @ 100mph NA-T 88 Supra

I would adjust the tps and kickdown cable. Then do a stall test. Does it do it in etc too? And its an rpm flare not a late shift? What gears slip?

    decking the block

If you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself i would drive to a shop or dealership in town. Pretty sure someone wouldent mind helping you out. Should only take them a second or so to remove it with an impact .Tips are great motivators too :)

Did i give machine shop wrong measurements?

For .020 oversized bore, the turbo clearence is exactly at that .010-.011 per inch range. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=EM&P=82

Did i give machine shop wrong measurements?

Another thing i have to take into consideration is that i have no oil squirters to cool the pistons. ---------- Post added at 09:33 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:30 AM ---------- I gave them a copy of the older tsrm.

    decking the block

Your going to have to disemble it. Any machinest who would agree to do it like that is retarded! Most auto parts stores rent tools for cheap.

Did i give machine shop wrong measurements?

I just sent my block to the machine shop and think i gave them outdated clearances.:aigo: I have a late GE block that i am going na-t with .20 oversized cast npr turbo pistons. Looking for 350-400hp. I have an older tsrm that does not include turbo models. It specifies 0.06-0.08mm piston to...

    Hows this oil pressure

Did your oil pressure drop after installing the turbo? Did you swap out the ge oil pump? I would say your oil pressure is a little lower than normal. With 0w-30 synthetic i get 20 psi hot idle. Btw after working at a quick lube place for 2 years its always the idot owners who let there engines...

Didnt put any fluid in Torque converter!

even if theres no fluid in the torque converter the pump is still moving as long as the engine is running. you need to rev it and move it between each gear every 30 seconds. Are you sure the driveshaft is hooked up? if it will not prime you didnt put the splines correctly or forgot your...

    Mikes 7MGE-T engine build

My crank has some very fine lines that can not be felt at all, but one of the journals had little piece kinda welding in there. Would having it sent off to be polished correct this and not change my clearances? I know toyota uses select fit bearings but the price quotes i got were crazy. If...
