2 weeks to settle? doesnt sound right.....but could be. any coilovers i used the drop is instant, and takes a while to get all 4 even. need to see a pic of them installed on yours. almost seems like there installed wrong, or there not sitting propper.

synchro lock in tabs are what break causing stuck in gear and loss of gearand all hell breaking loose. these synchros must be replaced they are the weak point of the tranny but mine last about 4 months of being raced twice a week with 400+ TORQUE to the rear wheels dont sound so tough now.......

have to look more into this, but his claim that they are cheaper and easier to find is false (atleast locally for me in bc canada). a search shows 4 r154 in junkyards invintory, but nothing for the 300zx trans.

i know its a long way didnt realize it was a ban on handheld radios to. that throws that plan out the window, unless we got a co - pilot. as said its just an idea. it may shrink to just a western canada meet.

just a feeler to see who all is up for this. the tentative date is starting may 7, and ending when it ends. date can change if it conflicts. basically my idea is a cross Canada cruise, from Vancouver to st johns (coast to coast) which is a good way to meet everyone and have a nice vacation...

so does my jeep. the power door lock doesnt lock or open the dr side, and manual mode is stiff. so maybe thats the issue.

do you have the remote for the alarm?

my jeep is the same way. the disarm is linked to the pass side, so someone slim jimming/picking the lock on the dr side wont turn the alarm off.
