I don't get how you can mess up firing/plug wire order so badly. The coil packs are labeled, the plug wires are pretty obviously designed to work with only 1 cylinder each (and also are labeled) and if you can count from 1 to 6 (I know it's hard) you can figure out which number each cylinder is...

^Thats more likely the tail light seals, leaking in from the top and running into the tail lights. The hatch leak... it could be the window itself, the trim, wing, antenna... pretty much anything.

With TE1 and E1 jumped (for the purpose of setting ignition timing) no correction is being made by the ECU.

It should run at whatever timing you wind up with when you 1st install the CPS. It probably will be a little rough, once you get it in the proper 10 degree range it should (well, mine has always since nothing else on my car is ever messed up) smooth right out and be at the correct RPM. You...

That is the correct location. On my 3k pipe replacement I have a port in a similiar spot but its significantly larger in diameter to get my Bosch valve the best flow possible.

The first one was terrible, I won't be watching the second.
