Check your fuel pressure, you could have a pump that isn't switching from 9v to 12v. The switch can be checked by jumping fp and b+ in the diag box and taking it for a quick drive.
I would put the IAT in the pipe before the throttle body. The map sensor I would mount near the fuse box and run a signal line from the intake manifold to it.
How do you like your 67mm kit? I'm thinking of selling the hx35 for something a little bit bigger.
Which act extreme clutch? They sell all different kinds.
Which means?
He thinks he has a set of 7mge injectors done by 'him'. That doesn't imply what size they are or what size he's hoping for. This post is very vague which is why I said "If you're trying to 550cc injectors"
See, these group buys always put me in a bind. I always want to put my project to the side in order to save for these. Guess I could do without a few extra parts when these come in.
Couple more photos of parts that I've collected.
Driftmotion t4 turbo manifold and hks 50mm wastegate with -10 an oil drain lines and fittings
t4 turbo blanket with graphite colored exhaust wrap and the hx35 7 blade with the bracket removed from the compressor housing and the turbine...
I haven't installed the hx35 yet, mine's the 7 blade compressor housing with the 12cm^2 turbine housing which IIRC is a .9x a/r. I'm hoping for around 450 rwhp at 20 psi.
DSM's are seeing full boost by around 4k using the twin scroll setup, which is what I'm using. My guess for expected spool...
Little update on this.
I've received my hx35 and ordered a few fittings for it. I've started to modify the turbine housing to get rid of the internal wastegate completely and reduce turbulence at the exit of the housing.
Here's my t4 DM manifold, the manifold surface is flat but the turbine...
My transmission refuses to go into 1st at anything above 5mph. 2nd gear I need to double clutch it as the PO was really hard on the transmission. Doing a flush with redline then driving it around for a thousand or so miles and changing the fluid again has helped.
The gold flakes are indeed your synchronizers, how does it feel changing gears? When those gold flakes turn silver, then you can worry.
Flush the transmission real good and drive it for a few thousand then check again. Saddens me to say but that could just be bad neglect of not ever changing...
I just purchased the t4 manifold off of DM, his new manifolds are turned properly. I can't give my opinion on fitment issues as I haven't tried to dry fit anything yet, still piecing my HX35 kit together.
