So far i have about 300 miles on this transmission. The more i drive it the smoother it shifts! :) I did not use the 5th and reverse shift fork.

The GTE cam has more lift but no overlap. NA cars need the overlap for scavenging where as the turbo does not. Just dropping the in will yield less power.

I got to say, your one of the few members on here that upgraded to a better car. Any mods planned for the new beast?

Your linkage is to tight. It should be able to let the fluid come in and out of the compensation port with the pedal released.

If pressure is still low after the oil change i would suspect your pickup screen is clogged.

What clutch is this? I would rebleed the master cylinder. Sounds like air in the system. Heres my trick.. Pump the pedal a few times. Release. Using a pry bar, push the slave cylinder in. This will force fluid up throught the master cylinder and out the compensation port. It might take...

Start with the Wix oil filter, then go from there.

Change out that filter for a Wix. It most likely is going into bypass.

What brand oil filter do you have on it now?

Did you adjust the master cylinder linkage? You dont always have to bench bleed. A little trick for the clutch my dad taught me is to push the slave with a pry bar. This forces fluid up into the master cylinder through the compensation port. Just did it the other day.

I burned mine out but it was messy. I will use a press when i do the the rears.
