your fuel pump should stay off till you crank then it should continue to run with the engine

Looks like you have quite the project... Pretty straight but needing a few things here and there... That's the vehicle weight rating not the scale weight but these cars are pretty heavy

Did you try to adjust the fender? You should get a little movement if you push the fender closer to the hood before you tighten all the upper 10mm bolts

Thanks so far so good :-) what should I set my aeromotive fpr at during idle? I researched and found stock is like 35-40 but when I set it there I have more power at lower rpms (butt dyno) but my engine cuts out up top it's now set at about 29 (from 26 what it was before) and doesn't cut out...

Iirc you will get code 12 if you crank the engine for more than 2 seconds with out it firing... . So if your alarm was causing it to not fire up and run but you were cranking the starter attempting to get it started then it would show code 12
