Duck!!! Incoming monkey wrench!!!
Lol so what is it about newer vehicles that makes it matter? Tighter clearances?
Oh and my buddy drove my supra the other day... (has atf) he was very impressed and kept commenting with how my power steering worked soo well (he uses psf) that being said...
I can verify continuity with my meter I pulled the "gauge" fuze and put one lead to the "out" side and the other lead to the A 10 and it showed continuity
The yellow wire in A 10 receives 12volts with key on and loses voltage when the gauge fuze is removed
I visually traced the back of the cluster and c8 is labeled ign+
Ok for ease of explanation...
Here is the cluster connections on my 88 parts car the wire colors match the tewd
Connector A
Connector B
Connector C
And here is the connections for my 90
Connector A
Connector B
And C
Tewd matches what my 88 parts car wiring is.... This 90 is a bit different though... My searches haven't found anything that suggests they should be different
Any ideas? :-\
This week I am going to read through "the book" so I might actually be able to find these things on it... I looked everywhere I could think to look before I asked and was a few pages off
thanks:-P
Ok so I have cycled all the plugs..
No change pulled fuze and checked both sides I have 12 v on one and continuity to ground on the other the c8 pin has nothing
The e3 plug I cannot find tho... There are only 2 blue plugs I can see and neither are 8 pin I have a 16 and a 13 pin
I am more...
I have the ect2000 plugged into the "out" side of where the "gauge" fuze would go... And am checking for its signal with the power probe
I am showing short/grounded circuit there but the fuze is still good and I have 12v on the other side
