Please post any MKIII with pulled, cut or rolled fenders to make wheels fit...

And here's a buddy's car he got with really ugly baseballcap like flares originally. So he left it for an afternoon or two and I tried to see what I could do with them. Unfortunately I have none of the totally finished shots anymore. And the mags for the my ride after I polished all the old...

Please post any MKIII with pulled, cut or rolled fenders to make wheels fit...

Here's what I've done. Keep in mind this was the first car I ever painted and in fact the first time I have ever done bodywork beyond simple rock chip repairs so be gentle, ... I didn't really wanna talk the lines of the car into too crazy directions. The backend is just a simple blend of the...

mk4 front end into a mk3 so what you guys think about that

I agree it wouldn't be good. Much like the look of a mkIV rear wing onto a MKIII. I saw that and just had to wonder what that guy was thinking. Not my thing anyways.

Had an idea for body moldings

I've been toying around with the moldings alot lately and come up with a (I think anyways) idea that I have not seen anywhere else before. Essentially I cut and shape acrylic clear pieces to the eact same shape as the originals and then paint the backside of the molding to the original car...

Hardest and Easiest Cars to Work on

I'm going with the 300zx tt as the worst I've had experience with. My brother is a 300zx guy and just checking his plugs is lots of work relative to the ol 7m or 2j. Easiest...Not sure what year of truck it was, but it was a big'ol early 80's ford truck with a 460 in it. You could almost sit...

Is the 2jzgte Aristo Auto really worthless??

I'm pretty sure it's not worth much if any at all man. Anyone who orders a 2JZ is more than likely gonna end up with one laying around as well. I got one here myself. Definitely going to be a surplus of them around no doubt anyways.

Flipup headlights on when down, off when up?

Well, yes, all the wiring was removed from the car for the "spot weld doubling up" and repainting from the frame up. And the wiring for the 2J into the Ma70 has not even started in the least. I wanted to be sure everything ma70 related was as it should be before begining to wire the new motor...

Flipup headlights on when down, off when up?

This is driving me nuts, finally got power to my car and was just starting to test things and when I turn my headlights on, they go down, and off brings them to the up position. Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts, (which at this points is a very very short drive, but thats besides...

The use of LC VOIDS YOUR WARRENTY-Nissan GTR

Your completely missing my tone and my point. There is no hate here, mostly jabbing fun at my brother who is also a member of these forums and a nissan guy! :P I am a little surprised though that it is not AT ALL covered, but thats my opinion. I had to notice as well that the new ZR1 has the...

The use of LC VOIDS YOUR WARRENTY-Nissan GTR

And while Nissan may makr it as an undocumented feature, or say it should be used rarely, or discourage uit's use entirely. Hell even if they say never use it, we've made it hard to get to because you shouldn't! Then they certainly shouldn't use it's result, that being a very quick time...

    240sx with ct26

I'll never get over how odd, and just wrong nissan motors look when mounted up. Is it just me or do they always look crooked and twisted like the cars hit something to anyone else? Great project man, I like the red MKIII road sled more though! ;)

    7M ported head pictures

Holy crap thats way faster than I would have ever guessed! Thanks man! So I was told that smoothing out and polishing the runners on a 7m was actually determental to performance because the pebbly texture was actually better for the supersonic air passing by it. This is obviously false. I...

    Engine Wire Harness Problem?

You can disconnect them at the tranny, which is a major pain IMO. I just added a connector myself. I'm only guessing, I'm sure someone will correct me, but I believe this is the netural start sensor? Or the reverse light switch? One of the two. I'm not totally sure, it was long ago, but...

    Meth Injection Q's

This is a really interesting topic, I had no idea it was so successful and beneficial. Let's you run more boost due to detonation protection? Hmmmm, I'm gonna research this some. But a worthwhile addition to a bigger build?

    dash lights not working!

This very same thing happened to me and it literally took me days to figure it out. In the end I had put a single pole, or single filimant bulb into one of the dual filiment socket on my rear tail lights and it was shorting accross the dual poles. Took forever to find.

    7M ported head pictures

Sort of an "untechnical" question about a technical subject, but..... What is the actual speed of the air going through our intake system under boost? Say 14psi, or 24 psi? Meaning through the IC and all of it's piping etc? I honestly don't even have the slightest clue is why I ask. 100...

At what point do I need a tune?

I personally would get the turbo timer before absolutely anything myself. It's not a "gee wizz" that feels great add-on in any way shape or form but it's certainly a great "reliability" factor. Even if you stay bone stock I would get one.

    CP or JE pistons?

I'm contemplating rebuilding the bottom end in an extra 2jz I have here and wonder what peoples thoughts are on CP and JE pistons? I have in the past run JE's in 2 seperate 7m's and honestly thought they were great! No complaints at all. I only recently heard of CP's. Or should I be...
