The best way to check for a vacuum leak is to narrow it down by listening, then very carefully spray carb cleaner/brake cleaner/starting fluid in the area that you suspect the leak.
Do it when the engine is cold so there are no hot parts for the flammable fluid to combust on.
Amazing, Dave.
I have drooled over those pie cuts in Jeremy's thread since he posted them. It's an undeniable art form and much like yourself, I can only dream, as I can't weld for shit!
Looks so much different with your wheels on it!
They do not require lubrication. The cable itself has a sleeve (teflon?) that slides smoothly inside the steel cable sheath.
Lubing them is an option to make an old cable spin freely again. I lubed an old one of mine using new gear oil.
You can do it to your new one if you want, but I...
MM... YES. I need to get some of those mirror triangle things. When my black car was on the road, I'd have to be very careful when I washed it as I could watch the water shoot right inside the car.
::edit:: Good thinking FT :bigthumb:
I have worked in a few GM dealerships and it's scary how many times I've heard the "technician" diagnose a car with wrist pin knock...
Fixitman: I had a co-worker a few years ago that bought a newish (03?) Impala for $100 because it had a "Junk Motor". Turned out it was the flex plate. He's...

Say what? He'll modify the factory radio to accept an aux input? That's awesome! Thanks Trucker!!
::edit:: RazoE: I believe that radio will work. He's got cheaper ones on there than $250 though.
Amazing what these cameras are capable of. I bought my GF an $80 Kodak Point'n'shoot and it's a 10.8mp I think. Takes awesome pictures.
Shame about Winslow, AZ. lol

CXRacing on Ebay makes a full kit.
They may separate the lower pipe if you ask nicely?
This is a very easy pipe to replicate, and should not be too difficult to have someone make if you take off the old one. Just a 45* angle and 12" of straight. I'll...
Nice Supra, Tom! Looks very straight and clean!
I know who you're talking about with the sandpaper block surface, Ray did it, and his car is still going strong.
I'll have to take a ride down there in the spring and check it out. Mini MA Meet or something.
