    Did you get the head machined? Torque to 75 ft-lbs? If you machined the block, did you have it machined with the timing case in place? -AM3

    Personally, I would not drive without EGR. And definitely don't drive it hard if you do. The USDM motor is tuned to run with EGR and will quite possibly get detonation if you put it under a load without EGR. -AM3
