    I bought mine blown up. It did the exact same thing. The PO said he was just cruising down the highway and out of nowhere, #3 decided it wanted out.     I was wondering if this is even possible to do. I searched and couldn't find anything on the topic, but I'm guessing that its been tried and failed, otherwise I would see more people doing this. I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but is it possible to put fuel injectors from a 2JZ into a 7M? -AM3

    + 1 on Timing, that could cause it. An intake leak could cause you to be rich IF you were in boost, in vacuum, it would cause a lean condition, but that can cause a lean misfire and high HC's, O2, and NOX If you were rich, you would have elevated HC's, high CO, lowered CO2, low O2, and low...

    I think the MAF cleaner is more for hot wire type MAFs. I personally would avoid using it on the AFM like our cars have. -AM3

    Good advice, I've heard everything from 75 to as high as 95 ft-lbs (which is ridiculous). You'll be fine at 75. -AM3

    I had a 2 year degree in automotive and I was nervous tearing into my engine. I know how it feels. In engines class it was "if I f*** this up, its only a practice motor that is never going to be run, so no loss". On the Supra it was "If I f*** this up, its 6 months and over $1500 of my own money...

    A component can have good continuity and be bad. The problem, just might not show up until you put current to it. So don't go eliminating the EFI relay as your cause just yet. -AM3

    Try taking the filter off and see if it starts. It could just be because of the filter being wet if you're lucky. -AM3

    That's a good question. I don't see why not since it would basically be like it was running before the turbo spools. But before you start it, did you build oil pressure? EDIT: I misread, is this install a rebuilt block, or used? -AM3
