yeah i think the speedo unit is made so you cant take it apart, probabaly so you cant tamper with the milage. and the gear you need to replace is probably the one thats rivited on.
doubt its the fuse, its prob the fan/ resistor. if you resistor looks like this pic, then its that. if not its the fan. fan can be tested by just giving it 12v and see if it spins again.
.
i guess i could be done. but to buy enough to cover a car, you could just paint it with tremclad spray cans for less to make it look good for the time being. seems like a waste to me, if your gonna just remove it to pain in 6 months-a year
lol that works
so its just teh wheel studs your replaceing? if you you should be able to knock them out where the caliper was, then install new ones thats way. the tin rotor sheild may be in the way, but just remove it.
sounds like you got the wrong mounts. the 86.5-88 used a different mount than the 89-92 7ms. was a subframe revision to make the 1jz fit better. you will need to use mounts from the car its going into.
id get the cat replaced, or a straigh pipe welded inplace so exaust works like stock again.
other that whats posted above, check the diff for fluid and then check the axle stubs on the side of the diff for leakage. a leaky diff will blow up eventually. also check the rubber on the CV boots...
it sucks i know, but gotta do what ya gotta do. the dream will live on, and one day you will return to the drivers seat of a supra. hope your luck turns around soon!
yeah its a mess up. there modded with what use to be a popular vinyl addon, but they go OUTSIDE and look cheesy. jdm ones are close, and with dim bulbs you can see the circles with just park lights on (but barley)
you can mod it yourslef if your brave, i might do the same thing now that i think...
