Bypassing heater core (loop or block off)?

Loop them together. I have never blocked coolant lines off except the rear nipple for the twins on the JZ motor. Always loop as it will avoid hot spots. The coolant will just sit there in the spot you capped off.

    1JZ/S13 No start... No Fuel!

Are you getting power to the injector plugs? You can get a pulse, ground, from the computer, but if there is no 12V+ on the other pin, the injector won't fire. If they still don't fire, you need to see if they are stuck closed which is weird since they were just running.

    1JZ/S13 No start... No Fuel!

Well, check to see if the fuel pump relay is turning on, fuse? The fuel pump is controlled by the relay which, if wired correctly, should be turned on as soon as you start cranking. Check the wire on your ECU to see if you are getting a singal from it and follow it to the fuel pump relay. At...

Need 1JZ-GTE A/C compressor part # or info

You will need the 7M compressor head and bolt it to the 2JZ compressor. That is the only way it will work. You might have to change the belt as it might be a little bit small because the 2JZ compressor has a larger pulley but it should be fine, just check the tension on the belt. Let you...

    2012 Calendar Submissions

Kenny, I would really like for you to put the above Supra in the calendar, not for the Supra, it is nice though very nice, but something more monumental. The Tower 1 for the world trade center is in the background illuminated. It is the building with the two cranes on the side. This year it...

Dustin, were those wheels 17"? I would get 18 but I can run a decent sidewalk that would be good enough for NY and street racing. I'll just spin every block. Did you have a set of coils or Tokicos and EB springs? I have a shell here with Tokicos and EBinachi springs but I am not sure how the...

    Overheating issues

No no, that's not my point. I am saying if the condenser is not doing an adequate job of cooling the refrigerant, then the EVAP will not have cold refrigerant. A quick way to test if air flow is the problem is to just soak it down with cold water. If it starts to blow cold on the inside after...

    Overheating issues

I am not trying to get air through the compressor, the spraying of water on it, cold water, will help cool it down. You would see the effect of the cold water on the condenser if you had a gauge hooked up to the high side. As you are spray the condenser with cold water, don't be greedy, soak...
