Family Guy - Screwed the Pooch, lol 1. That I watch too much family guy 2. That just because people say they'll do something doesn't mean they'll do it. I've always known, it's just that it seemed like someone was about to finally some through for me today... and then they didn't 3. Gas...

90 supra replacing 91 supra, planning for water ic

I didn't give it much thought because I already had the '90 supra when I found this, but it's true the pieces would have had to get through the air straightener I'll look into why the '91's turbo was damaged before I get rid of the car, which is soon. More pics of what turned from a build...

90 supra replacing 91 supra, planning for water ic

Although I haven't posted, I did keep working on the supra, just kept procrastinating the updates. Short story: I drove it out of the garage on 9/17/09 in the afternoon. Long story: When I got my BIC downpipe, I was dissapointed by the placement of the second 02 bung becasue I read in a...

What do you guys do when you buy drinks at the drive though??

This is probably the best we can do, I'd rather not have cupholders than have the car designed for them, being an eyesore and taking up room for something more useful. The panic stop is what I'm mostly worried about (it's just that it's my kind of luck) so all I drink in the car is bottled...

    Automatic or Manual?

My 91 supra was a auto and my 90 supra is a stick (both turbo) and I'm very torn bewteen the two. I miss the auto, but I also think about which car it was designed for, the N/A or the turbo. I like how the manual makes it feel less like transportation and more like an experience, but I hate how...

Looking for ideas for a secret service/valet switch

since disabling an EBC only limits the car to stock boost, which is still enough to have fun IMO, how about some sort of linkage on the rod on the wastegate acuator so that will hold the wastegate open fulltime at the flip of a switch

Steering wheel not lined up with Tires.

I have the same problem too. I bought the 90 supra with the steering wheel not straight but it doesn't seem to pull to any side either. Noted. I'm gonna do that test too right when I get my car running in a few days. But they can still do it without me doing that, right?

    Help me choose a downpipe

+2 for a BIC DDP, I have yet to turn on my car but my rerouted DP bolted on perfectly. Only thing with it is that got it with a second 02 bung that gets in the way of the stock heatshield, but a little cutting fixed that.

    defective mishimoto radiator

If changes were made to their design, than I just had bad luck. I called today and their automated service said that all technical/warranty inquiries should be sent via email, so I just filled out their form on their site. I'm just gonna have to wait and see, thanks everyone for your help.

    defective mishimoto radiator

lol my thought exactly "All products returned for warranty consideration must be returned to MP with all transportation expenses prepaid." That's what it says on the warranty paper that came with the radiator. Unless you mean HPF, but they have a 30-day policy and a 25% restocking fee. But...

    defective mishimoto radiator

I bought a mishimoto radiator (Mishimoto (86-92) Supra MK3 Aluminum Radiators - Manual) from horsepowerfreaks.com on 8/15/09 and didn't try to install it until two days ago and ran into multiple problems: This is as close as I can get the stock shroud to the threads, and that's after taking...

    Exhaust help/opinions

Leaded gasoline destroys catalytic converters. CATs convert nitrogen oxides to nitrogen and oxygen, carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide, and unburnt hydrocarbons to carbon dioxide and water to reduce pollution to the air.

Anyone using a TurboXS DTEC FCBC?

I looked into this also until I found out it was discontinued, and I never found a page on someone using it on any car. It's true you can find it on sites but the original company doesn't even mention it at all on their site, so that turned me off to it (makes me think that it probably didn't work).

    Weird Question

my dad lowered the warmup rpm on his '96 T100 from ~2100 to ~1300, and I told him (im driving it til i get my supra running) that it doesn't get out of 2nd gear for awhile, "awhile" depending on how cold it is outside or how little time I let it warm up. If I press on it to go past 3k, it'll...
