This is probably really dumb but I'm still gonna ask:
Since I'm leaving the stock twins on my 1JZ swap until spring, when I'm gonna pull the engine out again to anyways to go single, should I not bother with tearing the whole engine down and doing the whole gasket/seal replacement kit now and...
Was reading your build and was wondering if you could do a 1JZ swap for me and if so how much would it cost? If not, could you give me a little more guidance on where you fed the harness through on the drivers side through the firewall?
Thanks
They are so few because nothing matches the stock mounts. And as far as the bracket goes, if they are so easy to make why don't you see more MKIII's driving around with BBK's?
Chapel hill huh? I used to pick my buddies up from there every weekend when I was at Bragg lol.
As far as doin it right, that's the goal but I've never done anything this involved before and I'm kinda nervous lol
What made you think the car was previously wrecked?
How is there not a less expensive retrofit for our cars? They been out for forever lol. I never really paid that much attention to my brakes on my '87 NA, aside from wanting to paint them black to clean it up. But since I got duped on my '91 as far as brakes are concerned and now that I'm going...
So far so good here in MD, wind has died down quite a bit. Heard trees snapping in the woods next to my complex. Supposedly it's gonna pick back up here in the morning but we shall see...
I'm scared to look at the Supra in the morning :/
Didn't he flip his shit and get banned?

This the guy?
Oh I see, could you just make that standard or would it interfere with non-ABS brakes?
And I don't think I would limit that much at all, just pick a more standard sized mounting area that allows for the most options?
A very valid point, but what about those of us that aren't willing to drop 2-3K on a set of brakes that aren't PnP anyways? This would give us the option of having a lower cost, yet upgraded brake system...
As far as the ABS goes, what would be the difference between an equipped vs non-equipped...
How would you suggest doing that? Less material? Or just a lighter material? Problem with that is it makes the price go up...
You could always go this route lol- http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/09/zf-designs-carbon-fiber-macpherson-strut-assembly/
If your totally redesigning the hub/knuckle, would you then also be able to change the caliper mounting location to allow, say, a set of brembo's off an evo or a similar type of retrofit/upgraded caliper...? I don't actually know, just throwing it out there...
