If you use photobucket.com, the images are automatically resized to 800x600. Be patient though when uploading them. My pictures were 7.1 mp and it took about 10 mins to upload 20 pictures. That was also on my wireless laptop.

If you can cut and weld it, go for it. If it is easier for you to just cut and tap it, do that. It's all up to you. If it were me, I would cut and weld since that would be easier.
