sigh.....why do i have such TERRIBLE luck with cars..my very first car i owned was a 98 ford escort zx2 lol...i wrecked it literally the day after i bought it, doing 70 mph in a turn in a neighborhood....hit a tree, landed in some joe's yard

That isn't terrible luck. That is total irresponsibility and stupidity. I think your best bet would be to go buy a badass Bicycle. Virtually zero maintenance cost and it won't kill you...hopefully.
