if you can get them to mail the title or something you can use your old plates as a 30 day tag, it's completely legal but I'm pretty sure you've gotta have it titled into your name first.
anybody else?
the screw was only on 86.5-89.5 if i'm correct, and some say it's not supposed to be used to change the idle since the idle should be computer controlled. "fix the problem not the symptom" vacuum leak?
I heard today that all of ohio is gonna be getting rid of testing :) I already live somewhere that doesn't have testing but hey. Everybody should just move here and then we could have a supra meet every day! j/k.
request: Some very knowledgable people need to make a sticky about brakes. The ups and downs of solids, slotted, drilled. EVERYTHING about rotors and pads. I said "some" people because everybody seems to have a different opinion about them. It'd just be nice to have the facts layed down from...
nice run! I'm hoping to see 13's before summer ends. Right now I've just got a k&n and bic ddp (haven't gotten a catback yet, probably a blitz nur) and after that I don't know what I'm going for yet. Probably an mbc and bov. Who knows what else
I've heard that flat black is a bitch to paint, but I've seen it on a few cars and if it's done right (which is hard) it looks really sweet. I'd stick with triple jet black though. I always wanted my car painted black and to be so shiny that it looks like white.
mine's about 3 feet long, and I used it on the rears you just have to get it under the bumper. I also use a 1ft section of pipe. Greatest tools ever. The 'persuader' hahaha.
that's how I did mine, crank pully's at 12 o'clock (notch marks on the rear upper timing cover) and crank pully at 0. Then do what he said ^^^. Try to get the cps in there easily without spinning the cps, and then align the bolt hole in the center of that long groove the bolt goes through. Bolt...
pliers, vice grips, or special tools. I don't think I'd be going for the dremel and flathead idea any time soon, or dipping it in goo. They make cool little socket looking things that look like they have big teeth on em. Those are supposed to work well, but you'll obviously need a new bolt/screw
very very very well said. Plastic intercooler pipes work great from what i've heard. You could say that metal is better than pvc, but dammit titanium would be better than steel. And on up along the line. At least it's not made of paper or grocery store plastic bags. Or worse, duct tape. It is...
:evil5:
^hahaha. There are soooo many options.
(you/your stands for your friend and not you)
I don't have a step dad, actually I have a great dad with a bad temper sometimes. If it were me...I'd smash the shit outta the putty knife, burn the hammer, turn the car around and cover EVERYTHING...
I've got 10w30 in mine right now cuz that's what the tsrm said. But the plan is to only put a few miles on that oil and then switch it w/the filter (since I just put the engine back together). When I switch should I go with a 20w50? livin in northeast ohio and car will only be driven spring...
