yea mine stopped working too, but i think it could be the dash, cause not even the back lights are working for it, also isnt there a sensor somewhere in the engine? sorry just not trying to high jack

well for the oil leaking could be any gasket, crank, cams, rear main seal valve cover, most of the time i see are the rear and crank seal a lot on older vehicles

^^^+1 clean the motor, get a light, and find where its coming, im sure most people cant just tell you where its coming from, so your gonna have to dig deep to find out here. also you didnt mention if the car was GTE or GE and any mods you may have done to cause the oil leak? for shaking? not...

i know my clutch fan is really loud when i go up the rpms, but its probably cause i dont have the fan shroud?

i have had a BHG that leak coolant out of the motor instead of going in, i just kept adding coolant, but it was nothing major, it was on a old chevy cavilier

damn thats weird, i had my ARP bolts tq to 80lbs, my car never over heated but cause the head was not flat enough i had a pin hole size and leaked into cylinder 6, and i had a OEM HG

ive seen that the ebay turbo just needs a new actuator, and the turbo are good most of the time, a friend of mine got a 14g turbo from ebay, and its good, he just changed the actuator and its fine

i would rent a compression tester from advance or a friend of yours and give it a try before you start tearing things down, and save your self some time,

try a compression test, when you are free, wouldnt hurt to try also, to me, if you see the black smoke its probably that leak if you havent fixed it, also when you was breaking in your motor, did you ever beat on it, did a couple warm up cycles, and change the oil the first couple of times?

well i get the head back monday, i just lost my job but hopefully i can get it running this week or next week, but i manage to take some pics, couldnt since my cam broke, but this do for now, also you can see how the block port for the water has a small hole and see the burnt lines going thro...

well i took another look, a very small hole from one of the water ports that gets blocked off on the HG went out and went to the compression ring of the head gasket and made it leak, so im going to bring the head tomorrow to get it milled and hot tanked, and slap on another toyota OEM gasket...

nope i got a new HG, i think it cracked on the head, but again not sure, never over heated, i always watch my gauge when i drive
