A faulty wire can def make a ECU fail. Especially a bad or a shorting wire to an injector.

Yup, its easy. It bolts cleanly to the intake manifold for a stock look and to keep the wires short. I reccomend it over the MKIV resistor pack, and over radioshack ones.

if your going to install 550's and minus out 33% so the car runs good.. why even install 550's? That just puts you back to 380cc's of fuel. My 1JZ ran rich at 18psi with stock injectors. 10:1

MAke sure you ground out the ground wire on the coolent temp wire on the 2 prong sensor. When swapping a jdm motor in a usa car, it doesnt ground.

I ran my turbos at 18psi for along time. They never blew. On your setup Tyler, your going to run VERY VERY VERY rich. Stock 380cc's or JDM 440's would be better. If your lucky, maybe 340whp very tuned.

yeah, u just pretty much got every issue the JZ motor gets at once. Dont worry. Once i fixed my beater with the blown ECU, it drove a year without a second of downtime.

you can pickup ECU's for $50-100 bucks. Don't get that dramatic.

Your car just runs bad. If a sensor was bad, you'd know. I've gone thru 4 ecu's in the last 2 years on 2 cars.. and i've never had a bad sensor yet. Ill get u a pic of what a blown ecu looks like tonight.
