the upgraded turbo shouldn't make you run lean, no, not unless you're running more boost than your fuel system can handle. Only problem with that is that using the stock AFM you will hit fuel cut before you run lean. A bigger turbo will be useless without fuel and electronics upgrades

what color car do you have? it's actually pretty easy to get to them..I know the lock is held to the handle by 1 10mm nut, and then there's all the little rods...don't really remember about the actual handle though. best of luck
